When I try to access the streaming webcam for downtown BR it says I need to run an axis program?? Can you tell me what I need to do to find that program to run?

I use to get that problem.I can't remember what you do to fix it.Try updating your java.

It might have something to do with Active X.I'm no computer guru,just trying to suggest possible solutions.

I just tried viewing the cam with Internet Explorer browser and I get the same thing as you're getting.When I run the Firefox web browser it works just fine.

Do you get this when you try to view the cam?
The Axis Media Control, which enables you to view live image streams, could not be registered on your computer. You must install/run this from above for live video.

If so,I think you need to install the active X control.

I just installed the active X control and it let me view the cam on Internet Explorer web browser but when I left and came back and tried to view it again,it said I needed to install the active X control again.

Yeah I'm getting the same message. I'll try that again. I'm using Google Chrome as a browser homepage. Thanks again

Just to let you know,the town cam isn't functioning like it was before.There is no longer the user option to control the cam.Kip had it turned off for financial matters.He said he was working on having the town cam set up like the Aska road cam.
