Default A few webcam updates...

Added user control to the cam here
The right & left pan sliders are counter-intuitive at the moment. This cam will rotate 360 degrees and I messed up and mounted it backwards. I also didn't mount it high enough so you catch the top rim (that black line) of the enclosure. A new enclosure is on the way and I will be correcting these issues as soon as I can.

Added user control to the main cam here
Added streaming video to the bluebird house here
I'm having a problem broadcasting sound at the house for the moment but hope to have that resolved before they fly the coop.

The lakecam no longer pans/tilts/zooms but it's now a 2-megapixel shot. I'll be adding nightvision and a widescreen view shortly.

Kip,

The downtown cam is awesome! The resolution is great. You can zoom in and read license plates on cars in front of the train station a block away.

Lol, ya the "termite cam". It's mounted backwards so left is right, right is left, but throw in 360 degrees and I get confused...

I have the new enclosure for it that will make it soo much better, (plus I'll try to get it mounted so the brick isn't home/center this time!--then I can restrict it so it won't pan as far back as the brick--attempting to do this is what made me realize it was mounted backwards) but the bracket for it is back ordered.

PS: Randy pointed out that ETC has improved the bandwidth/frame rate on their Blue Ridge cam. They opened the pipe on this one as it's almost like video, but I can't get it to work this AM:

I can't view the ETC's Blue Ridge cam either.I have no problem with the Ellijay,Jasper,Ballground or McCaysville cam, they pop right up.When I click on the Blue Ridge one,it shows Live! Beta Test but no cam view.

Hopefully in their beta testing, they'll see the need to ditch Windows Media Player and go for Flash or motion JPEG.

When it was working, it was very nice, though watching 515 traffic in Blue Ridge is thankfully still a misnomer. Nonetheless, it's great for checking weather & road conditions in the wintertime. I would try to include the Ingle's parking lot from that location.

added: it's working for me today...awesome frame rate

The ETC cam is pretty cool. It's almost like video with the fast frame rate.It even allows you to switch to full screen.
