I want to thank every one for your cooperation. This year has not been as bad as last year. However the rumor is flying I pepper sprayed some one on the rocks. NOT TRUE. Yes this year I brought pepper spray for protection. But I have not had to use it. Last year there were some pretty big guys threatening me.

I have been reading all of this about the signs for many months. being a native of Fannin co. I 2 did not like the signs and all the paint and still don't.
sure I remember all the good times I had at the rapids, as a young man and my kids also had great times there as well.
now that I live close to the rapids I like to slow down and just look at the beauty of the river. my main point is this, even though I do not agree with how this matter has been taken care of with all the tape and paint.
I do agree with the owners right it is private property. and they have the right to do whatever they desire on private property.
I hope that one day this will all be over and done with, and then maybe those
of us who have enjoyed the beauty of the rapids, all of there lives will once again be able to go down and set on the rocks and just let the sound, take your mind away for a while.
