A reliable source indicated that the absentee ballots are looking positive. The source is not recognizing the last names on the ballots, so one might deduce that these could be "Yes" votes.
Get out there and vote Tuesday, it's not a slam-dunk. Early voting is over, but I'm voting Tuesday because I like to be in the process. Does anybody know if non-press cameras are allowed in the polls? Anyway we should all know by Tuesday night when we can hopefully put this fight to rest for good. Let's hope the silent ones pull the lever for the economy; isn't that what true conservatives do? I can tell you that in the 4+ years we've been in the real estate business here, the phones (and emails) have never been so quiet. |

There was a temperance prayer meeting on the courthouse steps. I hear attendance was sparse at best.
The Vote Yes! committee will be observing the vote count at 6:30PM, 3rd floor of the courthouse. Either tomorrow will be the biggest day in recent Fannin County history or it will be just another day. I'll report what happens here as soon as I get home tomorrow night. |

Just drove through downtown. The courthouse looked business-as-usual. The Senior Citizens Center where I vote looked relatively quiet. Got home to a recorded message urging me to vote no. I'm off to vote for freedom!
PS: I'm going to take my notebook to the courthouse tonight to see if I can get a wireless signal. If I can get Internet, I'll post the results here as they come in. |

Just voted. There were about 20 voters at the Senior Citizens Center when we went in. The poll volunteers said it had been very busy all day.
I'm at the courthouse now so I'm connected for the evening and will be reporting here live as the results come in. |

Just got unconfirmed word that it passed in the Mineral Bluff precinct (157 to 116). According to George Woodruff, this is an unexpected win. Stay tuned...
That result has been confirmed!!! |
