The downtown cam live was on The Weather Channel (national TV) at least twice today. I don't have cable/sat, but Randy called & said he saw it at around 2 (& thereafter @ 6 PM).

I called my pop in ATL after the first sighting, and he hit the DVR & caught it. Said it was the entire backdrop for the weatherperson. It may take a trip to ATL to grab it out of the DVR, but I will post it here when I have it. Thanks Randy for allowing me/us to realize a few seconds of quasi-fame!

Some ppl asked "Why?" when I put the cam up several years ago. I said, "Well (duh) to promote Blue Ridge at least nationally in a (relatively-speaking) cheap way for everybody?"
