Default Down Town Business Association

I wrote the blog on Blue Ridge What are we doing and am looking for some sort of a response from the Business Association of Blue ridge.

It seems that with all the positive remarks that it would be nice to hear if the association has anything in the works.

Changes need to be made if we want to see our little town survive.

Is there a formal downtown business association? Is there contact info?

I assume its not these people? Fannin Chamber – Downtown Blue Ridge GA

Would be nice form them to know how people think and point them to this forum or have others email/post on their site.

Bud

I hope someone from the Downtown Business Association will take the time to read your blog. I would like to add that even though my husband and I are "weekend warriors" for now, we make a special effort to go downtown every time we are at our cabin in order to make a purchase, large or small.

We do not want these small businesses to fail.

We buy our meats and cheese products at Bucks, and wine at Out of the Blue even though we know we could get it cheaper at Ingles (though not nearly as delicious). Many a gift I have purchased at Shiney Baubles , Wrapsody in Blue, and Anasazi to name a few. We love to eat the quiche and veggie soup at Danielle's and have a cold brew at Blue Ridge Brewery. We have brought many guests to The Victorian House for lunch and have taken a trip on the train with family. Whatever we can do to make the downtown area successful we are happy to help, but this is a two way street.

In exchange for our patronage, we expect reasonable business hours, good customer service and a product that will bring us back over and over.

The businesses that are clueless when it comes to the above three items won't be in business for long...

Yes, there is a downtown business association, any comments/questions should be emailed to them at Best of Blue Ridge - the best mountain town in North Georgia

Thanks,

Wildman
