It's similar, but setup by the local newspaper (I think). Anyway, you might want to take a look at the way forums are organized over there. It might be nice to have forums like "Fannin Politics" and "Classifieds" over here as well. I know I've found contractors and other things in the "Classifieds" section of blairsville.com before, and had good luck with them. The debate over Union County "alcohol by the drink" was pretty enlightening in the "Politics" forum over there.

Also.. Cooper's Creek is where I hang my hat, and it's getting a lot of real estate attention lately as well (well, developer interest, anyway). We're not a town, or a lake, but we are definitely a destination!

NGTO (NGTO Message Board - Powered by vBulletin) already has pretty good forums for trout streams, from the point of view of the fisherman.

I set this up while on vacation (I wasn't allowed to work on real estate ) so I will definitely be adding/adjusting the forums. Thanks for the info cajun; it really helps. Coopers Creek is added. The beach is great but I really missed BR, great to have a little altitude under my chair.

I recently found the Blue Ridge webcam and I enjoy checking it out.I post over on Tripadvisor in the Blue Ridge forum and I let the people over there know about it.
