What exactly don't you like about the atmosphere? Is it too loud or just very plain and boring?

I actually have a cabin in Blue Ridge that I rent and my guests are always asking for places to eat.

What about the Old Cabin Grille - haven't heard the best reviews on that?

If anyone on here can recommend where their favorite spots are (even if it's Ellijay or Blairesville) that would be great.

Thanks!!!
"Brothers" Restaurant on Hwy 64 in Murphy is a great "Longhorn" type place. Everything has always been good,,,,,except the melon citrus chicken===supposed to be grilled & was obviously microwaved .

Brothers just west of Murphy (on Hwy 64 where 129 North from Blairsville dead-ends into 64 - near Dexter's Flea Market) is excellent. They don't serve alcohol of any type, but the food is always good and reliable, and the staff are so friendly and courteous. And they have live music Sunday evenings. Nice Western decor, a neat little gift shop out front - sorta reminds me of a Cracker Barrell. They are absolutely packed on Sundays at lunch. I've never eaten there when there wasn't a nice crowd of diners. The food is really good.

Heading to Blue Ridge next week - was going to stop by and try out this restaurant. Website is no longer active for some reason.

Did this place close? Or maybe website is down for maintenance???

Murphy IS GREAT! Gena and I drive over there when we get a chance. Shoebooties IS great with Shoetinis upstairs where you can get a great martini! (yes, a martini). The Chophouse is also fabulous! We ate there last Thursday (Gena's birthday) and had a great time, excellent food and the best service! I tend to be a good tipper but I overdid myself :-) Doyle's is also very nice, and if you are in for a light fare and a good glass of wine, try the Daily Grind. They also have wonderful music on the weekends! GO MURPHY! One day we'll grow up here in Blue Ridge also!
