Default Thermometer not working??

I'm sure you have noticed but the temperature has stayed at 61 degrees for the past several days. It's always nice to see what the temperature is in Blue Ridge and we appreciate the webcam and effort to keep all of us who enjoy the area to check on it particularly during the summer from always hot Florida!!! Hopefully someone will check on the "stuck thermometer" before long!! Thanks so much!!

It is right now 68 Degrees at 10:15 in the morning. LOL

It has been staying around 80 to 83 degrees in the afternoon and in the low to mid 60's in the evenings.
Until they get it fixed you can do what I do. Use the Weather Channels Web site and type in the Zip Code up here and lock in the page. It will give you up to the minute and detailed weather information about Blue Ridge, Mineral Bluff Etc.

Weather Underground seems to be far more accurate than the Weather Channel. Their radar also appears to be more accurate and beats the radar from Atlanta TV stations.

Well I guess I'm being out voted and put in my place then. LOL
I have them all bookmarked including the Underground. Honestly I use them all here and there. But my personal preference is the Weather Channel. I like their radar the best. For me anyways they are the best to get snow predictions right over all of them. But it's all a crap shoot. The best for Radar hands down is the NOAA Gov site. I'll post a link. It is used for Hurricanes but it has every type of radar you could ever want covering the whole United States. National Hurricane Center

All I can suggest is you try them all and make up your own mind as to which one suits you the best. Everyone is different.

I meant no offense. My wife is obsessed with weather and particularly when there are storms nearby. So this time of the year she also checks them all and even finds weather information where I never would have thought to look.

If there are storms within 100 miles she's on the computer trying to make her own predictions and considering in advance if she will need to make a trip to the basement.

Lee I took no offense. That is why I made sure to put the "LOL" after my post. I was totally kidding. Underground is very good. I use it as well. I think they are all pretty good to a certain extent. The only one I have to say I really do not care for is the AccuWeather one. I think they are usually the furthest off on what actually happens.

Folks, add Intellicast (Intellicast - Local and National Weather Forecast, Radar, Maps and Severe Report) to your mix of weather datasites. This site is quite accurate for locations all over the World. The Intellicast site is used by many professional pilots to satisy their weather briefing requirements when filing flight plans. The site requires some 'getting-used-to', but it is quite good.

We in the oil & gas industry use this site for our 10-day work planning schedules. Wife and I use the site to plan our European rendezvous every 6-weeks as well.

Thanks Gypsy! I added it and yes it will take some learning on how to use all it has to offer but from what I saw it looks like a great site to have in my array of weather sites. Thanks for the info.

Holly Cow! Have you checked out the Local Weather prediction for the next 3 days?

Today it is suppose to be as hot as 91 Degrees. Friday it is suppose to be 95 Degrees. Finally Saturday they have us coming in at a high of 94 degrees. I do not mind the hot weather but that is too hot for me. The sad part about it is I am suppose to work in my Garden and cut down some trees the next 3 days. Sheesh! I am going to drop 20 lbs in sweat. LOL
