Can someone give me a little more information as to where this project is planned for?

Is it around the Tammen Park area?

First step to Harmony is to quit perpetuating this divide of "locals" vs "non-local" or "native" or "born and raised" vs. everyone else. What's good for one set of folks is usually good for everyone else too. Bottom line is that we are all Americans with the same set of rights and responsibilities as anyone else, no matter if you were born in Fannin, Naples, FL, Seattle, WA Boston, MA, Ninety-Six, SC, or some little town in North Dakota. I think most people show respect when respect is earned and respect certainly cuts both ways, and across all types of people. Usually to get respect, one must show respect.. I will be glad when all clanishness (wherever and whomever it is coming from) continues to fade into the sunset of the past.

ITA! and yes the Arts in the Park festival was fun, with a very large turnout of polite, well mannered folks. I spent some bucks at the vendor stalls and the shops in town. My favorite place is Out of the Blue! The shop owners were very glad to see their stores full of people again after a slow winter.

I am hoping the project will be handled responsibly and with a lot of forward thinking. A project of this magnitude done right will set the bar higher for those interested in new developments in the area. Think efficiency and sustainability, think solar powered, think using recycled products where feasible, think recycling bins along side trash cans. Our little area of the world could and should set a POSITIVE example like Greensburg, Kansas. As long as we are growing let's do it with a sustainable future in mind. We that moved in from other areas moved here for the simpler life and beautiful environment. Let's join forces and make sure our little part of the planet retains it's clean air, clean water, etc. Let's attempt to leave it better than we found it and that doesn't mean bigger and more profitable for those seeking to make quick money and run.
