I don't know where the courtyard is but if there is a brewery there I am sure I will get familiar with it.

Thanks Amos! We will have to keep an eye out for it. I knew you'd be the man to ask. Keep us up to date if you hear any more news on it if you will Buddy. Appreciate it.

Hello Blue Ridge.
My name is Pat Walker and I am the owner of Blue Ridge Brewery. We are in no way affiliated with the restaurant in Greenville which is called Blue ridge Brewing company. We are also not a chain or corporate business. In response to the suggestion that Pack's would be a more suitable size, we did look at it as one of the possibilities, but felt that we might be overwhelmed in a space that large. We are in fact renovating the building formerly occupied by Blue Christmas LLC. My wife Polina who some of you might know from Meyer's German Bakery will be heading up the kitchen for our Lunch service and Mr. Rick Tullis former owner of the Deli downtown will be our Dinner time chef. We will be open from Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. We have a large project ahead of us to get the building ready and approved, but we are hoping for an early september opening date. We are excited about all of the buzz that has been generated so quickly and look forward to having you all down to join us when we open. I will be checking back to try and answer any questions or ideas you might have.

Thanks for any feedback,
Pat Walker

Pat please let me know when you are looking for some help once you get ready to open up. I will be looking for a job around that time. My Son will be stating Kindergarden in August right down the road from your place and it would be a great place for me to work if you have any interest. I would be thrilled to come on down and talk with you when the time is right. I am waiting until my Son starts School to go back to work and I have a Big Family Reunion I am going to in Ohio the first 2 weeks in August. So a September opening would be perfect timing for me to get back to work.

Just keep me in mind if you would and let me know what I would have to do to meet you and go through the process of interviewing when you are ready to deal with that part of getting your place up and running. Good luck regardless. I just love the location and think it will do GREAT there.

Just got back from downtown Blue Ridge and had the opportunity to speak with Pat and his wife Polina. GREAT people! Pat and Polina are working HARD getting ready for the opening of the Blue Ridge Brewery. Painting, replacing flooring and major remodeling is being done. They have some very interesting plans for the brewey! I for one am really looking forward to the opening of our very own brewery here in Blue Ridge. I think Pat and Polina are paving the way for really good things to come for our great little town. Let's support our brewery!

Cowboy, It's my understanding that only the brewmaster can sip the brew while on duty
