Question Re: Old Cabin Grill Restaurant

What's the problem BC, got a puter for Xmas and its too much change for you to handle. You can just log off, stay home and cook and enjoy your home, you wont run into any out of towners and everything will be just peachy.

I have no idea what Xmas is it must be a holiday celebration X-MEN or something. No actually I got sick of reading posts by a bunch of Circle J#####S talking about how much they want Blue Ridge to change into where they came from or where they desire to be. Ya Gotta try harder son then that.

If only there were some way we could prepare good meals in our own homes?....oh my , I am ALWAYS cooking good, healthy things in my home! I have a pot of homemade soup simmering as I type this! That is all I seem to do, is to cook....buy the groceries, unload the groceries, cook the groceries, clean up the kitchen....etc, etc....(never mind my job, and the other chores of the house, errands, etc). I love to go out to eat as a treat from my usual routine of cooking at home. I am still hoping the old Cabin place opens up to another good place to eat! Like I said, the more choices the better!

BlueMoon...BC is just hating. Ignore Him and don't let him suck you in to anything. Maybe if we all just ignore Him after a while He will get bored and just go away. If not then He can keep posting away and we can just read and laugh at his posts.

I don't pay people like this any attention...because that is exactly what they are looking for all the while being very rude trying to get a rise out of everyone.

He usually dosent post during the day anyway - I guess now that the High School is back in session they have him locked up in a classroom somewhere trying to teach him a thing or two about the world he lives in. Or either he's sitting in in-house detention all day.

He's be the perfect poster boy for the old TV commercial "...because a mind is a terrible thing to waste..." from the United Negro College Fund

I wonder what BC drinks with his meals. I wonder if that is homemade also!!

Sounds like he needs to out more and see that most of the country is out of the stone age.

Gee, whiz. Y'all don't realize a little tongue-in-cheek here? Maybe it's y'all who are too literal to figure out what BornCountry is saying, huh? Anyways, pull the panties outta the wad and try and be nice, okay?

Thought the subject was Old Cabin Grill and whether somebody had bought it and was getting ready to reopen.

Frankly, I've had it with all the posts from and about BC if someone wants to start a BC thread go ahead, otherwise we should discuss Blue Ridge and the topics at hand.

I am agreeing that this thread has been diverted into some personal issues. Let's stay focused on the topic at hand, or start a new topic.

It has been over a week since this topic was started:
  • No new updates on the visual sighting of people working at the Old Cabin Grill.
  • No updates of real estate transfers involving the Old Cabin Grill tract.
I have assumed the Old Cabin Grill and Ingle's were inside the Blue Ridge City Limits; therefore, this location would not comply with the recently enacted beer and wine ordinance.

Can someone familar with Blue Ridge City Limits location clarify the status of the former Old Cabin Grill location?

Actually the city only annexed the land that borders hwy 515 and then run up beside roses. Therefore, the cabin grille is actually within the county. Its the same for El Sol. The way the city annexed parts of that land on orvin lance actually has El Sol in the county. And so they are free to apply for a pouring license.
