Does anyone know what is planned for all that land behind the Home Depot?

I had heard that a Walmart was going there (that was only a rumor I heard from a friend), but that seems less likely to be true since I have read that Blairsville is getting a Walmart soon.

I seem to recall hearing the same thing about a year or so ago about a Walmart going in.If not a Walmart,what do yall think or would like to see be done with the property?

I dont think we'll get a walmart now...kinda glad about that...I'd like to see an entertainment/resturant plaza....Ruby Tuesdays, Outback, Movie Theater, someplace with live music/comedy acts...it doesnt have to be loud just something to do at night....I'd love to install my personal favorite business idea...laundry mat/pool hall/ sports bar w/ wireless internet

I too am happy to think that Walmart won't be moving into the area, but I don't don't think we will be getting any Ruby Tuesdays or Outback type restaurants so long as they can't serve alcohol, which is okay with me. Although, I really would like a "laundry mat/pool hall/ sports bar w/ wireless internet" place. Really.
