Default Near Beer!?!

Well the News Observer is reporting that the Blue Ridge City Council is trying to approve the use of wine for arts festivals and cheese parties. I wonder if a full pouring license is in the near future. Don't get me wrong a glass of wine is a good thing, but a lot of my compatriots around these parts aren't too keen on grapes. They want grain...amber waves of grain pouring into an ice-cold 'stein with nachos and pizza. And why are they allowing people to have wine at certain events but beer is not allowed? I hope that this isn't some form of class warfare. The elite sipping wine while gorging themselves on Smoked Gouda. Meanwhile the locals are relegated to eating Kraft Singles and drinking beer at the neighborhood gas station. Biscuits or Bagels my friend!
