No winter draw down this year
Well that's a refreshing use of logic since we're at December levels in August; I expected another flood control speech. Frankly, I'm worried about a full pool next spring even without the winter draw down:
Quote:
The typical winter pool level, which usually is achieved by the end of December, is at 1,667.9 feet of elevation. The lake is below that level already with a current elevation of 1,667.67 feet, according to TVA spokesman Gil Francis.
Because of this, the TVA will not be performing its usual “winter draw down,” this year, Francis said.
