I could understand some high salary given the position...if theyre making the value decisions that could cost people thousands of dollars annually...hopefully they would value their job so much they wouldnt be willing to compromise for people they know, people with some extra cash falling out, etc. But 12 full time employees seems a bit many for this county. How about cutting 1 of them and hiring 2 more deputies...or some fire fighters...
