I think this year has been better because the power companies were pretty aggressive with trimming back anything near power lines last fall. I don't know how often they do that, but there was definitely a large investment down my way (hwy 60 south) in hacking back any growth around the main lines. If that's just a 5 year thing, then I expect it we'll be good for a few years till the growth comes back and the ice storms hit.
