This is a joke!
Everyone needs to get over it and get a life... Anyone who gets busted for speeding in Copperhill - and regularly drives through there - deserves it... After all, we all KNOW theres a 99.99999999999% chance that the cops will be sitting at the bottom of Polk County Hill WATCHING for speeders most times of the day or night - out of towners might have an excuse for getting a ticket, but anyone who drives that route regularly should KNOW to drive at or under the speed limit in Copperhill... I think the new Chief summed it up to a tee when he stated recently that locals are complaining because they have gone for so long without any police presence in the town watching and that's changed over the past couple of years. Welcome to the real world Copperhill..
The News-Observer even sent the editor out riding along the next weekend and he had to admit that the officers let FAR more people go than he ticketed - and that people were driving poorly through town.
Get a ticket in Copperhill? Just go pay it and quit driving like a twit and get over it.. Copperhill's tickets are cheap anyway - $130 or so - try getting one in the City of Sandy Springs, GA where I recently got one for speeding on GA 400 - that one cost me over $400!!!

- and they have many, many cops driving a fleet of shiny new, fully-decked out cars out
everywhere looking for traffic violations. The city was actually formed in great part because people wanted more police presence - and when they got it, people started complaining because there were suddenly more eyes watching the traffic and more tickets being written - got to take the bad with the good.
