Default Re: Temperance Movement Organizes!

Why aren't the restaurant owners writing letters to the editor in the local papers telling people why a vote "yes" will help their facilities? I've spoken to several restaurant owners and they are all telling me that their sales are down by a larger percentage from this time last year. Why are the very people that we are fighting to help increase their profits insisting on being the silent majority? Is it because they are afraid that they will lose the business of the church parishioners? I hardly will think so considering that the very leaders of the Temperance Movement can be found at Ellijay, Canton, or Chattanooga restaurants having a wonderful time at Longhorns, Outback, Ruby Tuesdays, Outback, and etc. I think the demagoguery needs to stop. If you are a business that is being affected by lower house sales, more and more tourist going to other counties, or fewer food sales because the grass is greener in another county then let your voice be heard. You are the ones in trouble. You are the ones who need to educate the citizenry on how this vote will affect you and them. SPEAK OUT!
