The level of IGNORANCE (in the purest sense of the word) and STUBBORNESS in the area is mindboggling! Is this place truly the land that time forgot? Make it not so by your YES vote on the 9th.

This whole issue (among many others) often makes me entertain the thought that all local governments should be abolished! IF everything were run out of the State Capitols we would have a much, much more mainstream set of ground rules and more prosperity would be uniformily spead throughout all regions of the state - like here. Most local governments are unfortunately full of unqualified people attempting to make decisions that they know nothing about, and they end up pandering to the local "special interests" - in this case, the churches. I have nothing against churches whatsoever - just churches involved in politics and public policy. I also am a Christian person in the fullest sense of the word, but I choose to take my cues from God himself, not my pastor or my fellow churchmembers for "appearance" sake.. Get a clue Fannin County! Wake up and smell the coffee!
