Re: Temperance Movement Organizes!
I heard from the pulpit yesterday that the local churches are organizing a calling committee. They are hoping to get at least 200 persons from all of the churches and initiate what I can only imagine is a get-out-the-vote program to call people within the county and assert the "VOTE NO" initiative. I love it when a church (my church) partakes in a program that is biblically unfounded. Its almost as bad as when the government uses its police force to take away money from my paycheck to pay for programs that I do not want. Social Security anyone? But thats another forum topic.
